Spargel mit Schinken is one of my husband's favorite German appetizers to prepare, tender asparagus is wrapped in prosciutto ham that has first been spread with seasoned cream cheese. These are always the first snacks to disappear when we entertain, and a favorite of guests!Any leftover prosciutto is also great wrapped around spears of fresh cantaloupe, so we usually buy a little extra to make some of those to serve alongside.
