Once safely in position, Elam and the other Sorcerers used flames of fire to burn the Chantu to force them into the river. Shane then used Air and Water to trap and drown most of them. A few remaining Chantu saw what was happening and abandoned their positions. They ran or rode away on their horses back in the direction of the surrounding hills.
