This cherry and walnut jewelry box at 13 x 9 1/2 x 4 has plenty of storage inside. The 12 compartments on the bottom are lined with burgundy felt and the removable sliding tray is divided into 3 sections. The lid has a raised center panel with a walnut frame and bridle joint corners for strength. I used an 8 continuous hinge that stays open when lifted up. The corners of the box have dbl. miter keys made of walnut. The entire box is sprayed with 3 coats of a furniture grade lacquer finish
